Andrea Paul, MD, is a physician-turned-entrepreneur and the Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of BoardVitals, a health and medical education company that helps healthcare professionals prepare for certification exams and meet maintenance of certification, and continuing education requirements. Named one of the ‘Top 10 Disruptive Women in Life Sciences,’ Dr. Paul founded BoardVitals which has trained more than 100,000 health professionals and is used by more than 400 institutions. BoardVitals was named #251 on the Inc. 500 and #14 on Crain’s Fast 50 in 2018. Andrea also spends her time as a venture partner in a health care VC fund, doing public speaking, on the executive committee of a startup accelerator, and advises and mentors many female entrepreneurs and physician entrepreneurs. Dr. Paul attended Michigan State Medical School and did her residency years at Yale University and Mount Sinai Medical Center.

 Dr. Paul shares about the fear of pursuing a passion when the path is uncertain. She shares some pearls that are not to be missed about taking the leap in the intent of sprouting wings on the way down. She pays it forward regularly by helping female entrepreneurs or those contemplating entrepreneurship see their way.
